Resident Acting Company at Timber Lake Playhouse!
Amy is so excited to be in the Resident Company of Timber Lake Playhouse for their 2025 Summer Season.
Shows in the season include Sherrie in Rock of Ages, Ensemble (Jenna u/s) in Waitress, Ensemble in Disney's Frozen, and Ensemble in Saturday Night Fever !!!

About me!
Hi! I'm Amy Chen (she/her pronouns) and I am a Philadelphia based Theatre Artist.
I grew up in New Jersey, and have been performing since I was 6 years old. My love of performing started with a dance class when I was 4. By age 6, I was on the competition dance team at my studio. I did my first musical a few years later and fell in love with theatre!
Theatre has informed who I am for years. It combines my love of storytelling with a love for music, movement expression, and human connection. My art seeks to provoke meaningful thought and reflection through creative theatre collaboration. I also just love how art makes people laugh and feel joy.
When not performing, I love to crochet, listen to music, spend time with my friends and play with my sweet dog, Daisy! :)
